About Your Hotel
We want your stay to be safe, comfortable, and carefree. Below you’ll find useful information about our pool, beach, medical services, and safety guidelines – everything you need to make the most of your holiday.
Pool Information
Here are a few things to keep in mind when you use the pool area:
- A lifeguard/pool attendant will be on duty. Please follow their safety rules at all times.
- Babies must wear swimming diapers in the pools. Swimming diapers are available at our Mini Market.
- Check the safety rules and the depth of the pools before using them for the first time.
- Cups, bottles, and any glasses are not permitted in the pool/sunbed area for security reasons.
- Do not use oversized toys, pool rafts, and floats in the pools. When in doubt, please ask the lifeguard/pool attendant.
- Opening times for the pool(s) are shown by the pool area.
- Please bring your Pool and Beach towel to the designated area for exchange.
- Please note, for each lost Pool & Beach towel, 20 euros will be charged to your account.
- Please be careful when walking in the areas around the pools, as they can be slippery.
- Reserving sunbeds with clothing/towels/etc is not allowed. Hotel staff will proceed every morning with removing all items from the sunbeds.
- The pools are closed during the night for cleaning and safety reasons. Do not use the pools at this time.
- Use of sunbeds is free for Sunwing Kallithea Beach guests.
Beach Information
Here are a few things to keep in mind when you are visiting the beach:
Remember that wave size and power can vary throughout the day, so always check the warning flags on display before going in the water.
- An adult should go into the water first to test the type of seabed, depth of the water, etc before allowing children to go in.
- Always check the seabed before diving in and watch out for strong currents.
- Don't leave children unattended.
- Drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration.
- Make sure that any inflatable swimming aids are in good condition and work properly.
- Respect the warning flags – a Red Flag means it’s too dangerous to go in the water.
- Test snorkels and masks in shallow water to check that they work.
- Take particular care on beaches away from the major tourist areas, where assistance is limited in case of an emergency.
- Top up your sun protection throughout the day. Salt water reduces the effect of sun block.
- Watch out for boats, windsurfers, water-skiers and others who may be near the shore.
Doctor
We have an English-speaking doctor onsite every day. Remember to bring your insurance certificate and passport with you. For medical help at all other times, please contact our Help Desk.
If You Feel Sick - Dos & Don'ts
If you or your travel companions feel ill, follow these steps to prevent spreading the illness to others:
DOs
- Always wash your hands before entering the restaurants or bars-
- At the buffet, let someone in your party serve food.
- Contact the Help Desk about having food delivered if you are too ill to leave your room.
- If your bed linens or towels are soiled, please call housekeeping or reception immediately.
- Use separate toothbrushes, flannels, towels, etc to help prevent spreading the illness to travel partners or family.
- Always shower before using the pool.
- Notify the Reception / Help Desk or pool attendant immediately if a vomiting or diarrhea outbreak occurs in common areas or the pool.
- If your kids are ill, please withdraw them from kids’ club activities and inform the kids club staff.
- Report any illness to your tour operator’s representative immediately.
DON'Ts
- Don’t use the pool if you have diarrhea or have been vomiting – wait until you have been symptom-free for at least 48 hours.
- Don’t use public toilets if you’re still feeling ill – use the toilet in your room instead until you are symptom-free for at least 48 hours.
- Don’t let ill children attend children’s clubs or hotel events where they mix with other children.

Caring for Our Stray Cats
In line with our Animal Welfare Policy, we also support the welfare of the stray cats living around our hotel. While these cats do not belong to the hotel, we are committed to promoting their wellbeing in a responsible and sustainable way.
For health, safety and hygiene reasons, we kindly ask guests not to feed the cats anywhere on the hotel premises. A designated feeding station is available at the hotel's main entrance, next to the gate, where cats can be fed and provided with water.
